Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).
Experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in maternal and child health, primary healthcare, or community health programs.
- Experience in conducting health camps, community outreach, and health education is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of public health programs and community health approaches.
- Good communication and counselling skills.
- Ability to work in field settings and with vulnerable communities.
- Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting.
- Experience working with government health systems and public health schemes.

Job Description–
1. Clinical Services
- Provide outpatient consultations to community members at project clinics or outreach camps.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses and refer complicated cases to higher health facilities.
- Ensure proper medical documentation, patient records, and prescription practices.
2. Maternal & Child Health (MCH)
- Provide antenatal, postnatal, and child health services.
- Monitor high-risk pregnancies and ensure timely referrals.
- Promote institutional deliveries and safe motherhood practices.
- Support immunisation programs and growth monitoring of children.
- Conduct health education sessions on maternal and child health.
3. Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD)
- Screen and manage common NCDs such as hypertension and diabetes.
- Conduct regular screening camps for early detection of NCDs.
- Provide counselling on lifestyle modification, nutrition, and medication adherence.
- Maintain records of NCD patients and ensure follow-up care.
4. Community Health Programs
- Participate in community outreach activities, health camps, and awareness programs.
- Provide technical guidance to field staff, community health workers, and volunteers.
- Support implementation of government health initiatives related to MCH and NCD.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain patient registers, treatment records, and project data.
- Prepare periodic reports on health services and program activities.
- Coordinate with government health facilities and stakeholders when required.
6. Capacity Building
- Train project team on basic healthcare practices.
- Support development of standard operating protocol for the clinic, health awareness materials and sessions.
