Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health/ Social work or related field.
- Minimum 2-5years of experience in public health program management, preferably in maternal and child health and/or NCD programs. Experience working with government health systems and community-based programs.
- Excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proven experience in team management, program implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Good proficiency in English and Hindi language, with basic knowledge of Marathi language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the project, including ecosystem mapping, planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Develop project timelines, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely delivery. Proven experience in team management, program implementation, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure effective implementation of project activities in alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements. Develop annual work plans and implementation strategies. Supervise program teams and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
- Strategic Planning and Program Development: Identify opportunities to strengthen MCH and NCD interventions. Ensure alignment of program strategies with national health policies and government programs
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong partnerships and regular coordination with government authorities and community stakeholders to support effective program implementation.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to track program progress and evaluate outcomes. Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and timely reporting of project indicators. Conduct regular field visits to review implementation, ensure quality, and provide guidance and feedback to field teams.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Monthly Progress Reports, Quarterly Impact Reports, training session summaries, minutes of the meeting Field report and Case Study reports. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Identify and secure partnerships to support the project. Support in developing IEC and training materials to support ongoing learning.
- Financial and Operational Oversight: Monitor program budgets and ensure efficient utilization of resources. Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with financial and administrative processes. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and donor guidelines.
