Last seven months of the global pandemic have been mostly about experiencing and coping up with the ‘New Normal’ while taking safety precautions to protect us and the community at large.

As an organization, we continued to work towards reflecting, restructuring and gearing ourselves to cope with the real-time challenges.

Here is what we have been busy doing for the last few months to address the continuous global crisis emerged due to the COVID-19 pandemic while carrying out our on-ground work as usual.

STRENGTHENING SYSTEMS IN LINE  WITH THE ‘NEW NORMAL’

We understand that ensuring safety for all is our social responsibility.

The ‘new normal’ has certainly impacted the functioning of the organization and we responded to it immediately by introducing several new protocols, guidelines, policies and systems.

ADDRESSING MENTAL WELL-BEING OF TEAM CCDT

We understand that mental well-being is just as important as physical health. As an effect of the pandemic, there has been an increase in the level of stress among all our care-givers and team members. Hence, we decided to address mental well-being needs for the benefit of team CCDT.

For the employees, an interactive engagement session was organized virtually on Zoom with Dr. Ruta Vyas. This session focused on understanding the relationship of employer and employees and their mental wellbeing needs. The main highlight of the session was ‘UBUNTU- I am because you are.’

REACHING OUT THE UNREACHED WITH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROTECTION

Working from home during the pandemic was very challenging indeed as it initially disrupted our outreach programs to the remote areas like Palghar, Bhiwandi and Malegaon. However, with dedicated employees and support from the communities, we have carried ‘hope’ to the remote areas and have successfully carried out our intervention, even during the difficult times with utmost care and safety.
